Hello - I wonder if any of you had/are having my same problem:
After re-installing on new drive I can't register my Darbuka and Latigo. EVen though I get the message 'succesfully registered' nothing happens. It's like the online server doesn't communicate or is not available.
After tracing down ownership of the now defunct(?), which apparently went to Steinberg, then Avid, then AIR and now InMusic, I sent them an email. This is their response:
'Hello.
Unfortunately these products where discontinued by Steinberg in 2008 prior to Avid taking ownership of what has now become AIR.
Avid in sold AIR to inMusic in turn.
Unfortunately Steinberg retains ownership of the IP to my understanding.'
So, I contacted Steinberg about the ISP but of course the support chat said 'we no longer own..etc..' - he couldn't answer the ISP question.
Have any of you been able to solve this? It's kind of crazy that one company owns the product and another the ISP???
